 Cherry Picker Golf Ball Drop

Fire-Truck Cherry Picker Dumps Golf Balls for Charity

At the opening of the new Thomas Stewart Public Park at Community Day in Greenwich Township a new 50/50 fundraiser took place. The Cherry Picker Golf Ball Drop asked residents to buy golf balls to be put in a bucket and dropped from a Stewartsville Firetruck Cherry Picker on a predetermined Target. The ball to hit the target (or closest to) received half the proceeds. The winner of the fundraiser was Steven Booth Of Bloomsbury NJ.

The fundraiser was sponsored by the Greenwich Angels Education Foundation. The Greenwich Foundation gives out scholarships to PHS students and other educational programs to help the area students. The Greenwich Angels is a 501c3 which was established in 2013.
